Ehsaas Scholarship Program for Undergraduate Students

For the first time in the history of Pakistan and the HEC 50000 Need Base, the Prime Minister of Pakistan The Ehsaas Scholarship Program is for poor students from middle-class families who cannot afford education expenses and are unable to pay their hostel fees. More than 200,000 students are expected to benefit from the Ehsaas Scholarship Program during the next four years.

After completing intermediate, further education is regarded as the sole path to escape poverty in Pakistan. Ehsaas Undergraduate Scholarship Program

A student’s household annual income must be less than Rs 45,000 to be eligible for the Ehsaas Scholarship Program.

At a cost of Rs. 24 billion, this scheme was expanded to include public universities in the four territories of Azad Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan. On March 2nd, the Prime Minister will give the first phase of the 24 billion to deserving students throughout Pakistan.
• The strategy is to provide opportunities for youngsters to enter higher education and to ensure equal educational opportunities for all. Recognizing its reality, which has a population of roughly 220 million, more than half of whom are university students, the Government of Pakistan’s objective is to work on such programs that provide the motivation to provide access to financially qualified individuals while also encouraging equal rights.
• Women will receive 50% of the scholarships available through the Ehsaas Scholarship Program. Every year, 50,000 scholarships will be awarded. In four years, two hundred thousand dollars in scholarships will be registered.

Criteria for Ehsaas Undergraduate Scholarship Program

• Students who have been accepted into a self-financing or self-support program are ineligible to apply for the award.
• Students who are already receiving another scholarship or grant are not eligible to apply. This program is only available to ordinary students. Students who learn from a distance are ineligible.
• Students who attend nighttime classes with high tuition rates are ineligible.
• Students from households earning more than $50,000 per month are ineligible.
• Students have access to land and other sources of income.
• Monthly electricity use by students and their families exceeds 300 units.
• Children of government employees are not eligible.

How to Apply for Ehsaas Scholarship Program for Undergraduate Students

• Candidates who meet the eligibility requirements can apply online at https://ehsaas.hec.gov.pk/.
